The jaguar has the strongest jaw muscles among the animals belonging to the cat family. Their bite force is about 1,500 pounds per square inch, about twice that of a tiger. 

In terms of body size, the jaguar is the largest animal in the cat family after the tiger and the lion. Their jaws are quite short, which gives jaguars more power than other big cats.
